Let's get the particulars out of the way!

What's going on family! James Hadnot here with my first ever blog post. What you're going to get from me is intriguing, entertaining, thought-provoking content. I'm going to start with who I am and how things are going to roll here. First, I grew up in Arlington, TX and I am a HUMUNGOUS Cowboys fan. I also would consider myself a fan of the Mavs, Rangers, and Stars. I absolutely love College Basketball and I will live and die with my alma mater Syracuse University (people say that Jim Boeheim is overrated and to them I say let's have a conversation). Also, I can not forget where I earned my graduate degree, West Texas A&M. The Buffs will win a national championship within the next two years and they have the two best guards in the country. To paint the picture of my fandom, think of a slender, 6'3 individual, with strong opinions and a semi-short fuse when it comes to his team. Working in sports on-air you have to be objective and calculated. Therefore, when I'm watching a game at home as a fan, I tend to let loose with how I really feel in both exciting moments and distressful ones.

As a person, I love music! Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, and Smooth Jazz are always playing in some capacity. I'm beginning to watch a little more television during this Quarantine -- MONEY HEIST is a 12/10 (if you'd like to dispute this, we can definitely have a discussion). I'm a very complex individual, always thinking, and very passionate about what I set my sights on. Also, I'm a colossal family person. Family is the cornerstone of my life and a health familial environment is a major factor in success for anyone. Lastly, I'm a enormous people person. I think everyone has an interesting story and enjoy learning about those stories.

Now, how are things going to roll on the Final Word? Well, I am going to let y'all know how I feel about anything and everything in the realm of sports, music, and culture. I want you to feel free to provide potential topics and to give your opinions as well because as I said above we are a family. What will we talk about first? I guess we will find out tomorrow!
